and through understanding it is established, through knowledge its rooms are
filled with rare and beautiful treasures.” (Proverbs 24:3-4)
Antoniyarpuram, Dindigul -
Every house is built by someone but the builder of all things is God alone. It
is a dream come true for Antoniyarpuram (Perumalkovilpatty) for a presbytery.
“The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.” (Proverbs
16:9). These words became true in the construction. The foundation stone was
laid on 20 February 2019. From then onwards, the Divine Providence guided the
steps to complete the construction, having Jesus as the cornerstone of the
building. The house was blessed and opened by Most. Rev. P. Thomas Paulsamy,
DD, on the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary on the 8th
of September 2020.
I sincerely thank the
Almighty for His providence. I am indebted to our beloved Bishop whose support
and encouragement were instrumental in completing the construction. I
gratefully remember the contributions from the Congregation of Faith and Rev.
Fr. Edmund Jackel, SMM, the mission procurator, Montfort Missionaries, Germany
whose support was immense in this project. I gratefully remember the encouragement,
support and contributions from the Vice Province of India, the parishioners and
local donors. I also appreciate the hard work of Mr. Manikandan, the Engineer,
Mr. Victor Immanuel, the Contractor and his hardworking team of workers who
contributed their might in this construction.
